Sigh have admitted their claims that "Gallows Gallery" was recorded using Japanese World War II sonic weaponry techniques were false. The rumour was circulated firstly to excuse the poor final master and also because Century Media refused to distribute the album. The label had actually been expecting a more black metal-oriented album and were dissatisfied with the avant-garde direction Sigh had taken. The album was eventually remastered and reissued by The End Records.
According to a recent interview with Metal Maniacs, Mikannibal has a PhD in physics from the University of Tokyo, hence the "Dr." in her stage name.
Yasuyuki Suzuki used to play bass on tour for Sigh when Mirai Kawashima was still the studio bassist. He also last filled in for Satoshi Fujinami on the 2008 North American tour.
